At Orum Consulting Limited, we work with senior leaders, teams and organisations where trust matters. We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Our Role

When delivering assessments, coaching and development programmes, we act as a Data Processor on behalf of client organisations, who remain the Data Controllers.

Operational and administrative support may access limited contact details solely for scheduling and coordination purposes.

What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver contracted services or agreed communications.

This may include name and work contact details, job title and organisation, session bookings, availability and relevant correspondence.

With explicit consent, we may process special category data such as psychological assessment responses, behavioural indicators, coaching observations and optional demographic information.

Why We Process Data

Personal data is used to deliver assessments and reports, provide coaching services, manage programme administration and meet contractual obligations.

Our lawful bases for processing are Contract, Legitimate Interests and Explicit Consent where required.

Data Security

Data is stored securely using established cloud providers including Google Workspace, Microsoft OneDrive, and AWS.

We apply encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, role-based access controls and regular security reviews.

Where data is stored outside the UK or EU, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.

Retention

Assessment data is retained for up to 5 years. Coaching notes are retained for up to 7 years. Contact data is removed after programme completion unless otherwise agreed.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, restrict or request deletion of your data, and to object to processing where applicable.
